I build at the intersection of design, systems public policy and technology. Design must be deeply centred around the visceral experience of being human. There are no shortcuts. Systems are about understanding that nothing emerges in isolation; that one cannot understand the system through its constituent parts The secrets lie in their connectors - that's the true leverage. The difference between technology and magic is that in the former, we are in the knowledge of its logic and utility. In the latter, we are in the dark. Both do the same thing for the beholder - to be amazed. Public policy is one force multiplier - for good or ill.
